Age of Conan Demonologists lash enemies with fire summons from the dark beyond. This video clip just shows a demonologist pummeling a few mobs, the last is a fatalities that has the mob writhing in pain for a few seconds as it die a horribly painful death.

Yes it's official and no theres not a ton of information about it yet. Siege combat WILL play a part in Age of Conan gameplay. Of course we've heard that guilds will be able to create and build up player cities for some time now, but now it appers that there are only a few plots for the larger keeps.

The Age of Conan developers give us a sneak peak at character creation and a little insight into what we can expect from a character development standpoint. With 70+ years of 'Conan' lore to pull from it's no surprise that the game is very lore-centric lending itself much more to role playing than many of the 'cookie cutter' MMORPG out there today.

The AOC game developers share some insight on the monsters, demons and other NPC/Mobs from the Age of Conan game. There's some really interesting stuff in here about the games mob AI that sounds like 'just what the doctor ordered' for the MMORPG world.

This theatrical trailer for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures uses what appears to be scenes directly from the game, or at least uses in-game models. Towards the end theres some pretty massive combat scenes and what appears to be a hint at the much rumored seige warfare.

I'm sunk. I can already tell I'm going to be wasting far too much time at the character creation screen - with hundreds of possible combinations and virtually limitless detail customization, I'm never going to be able to decide what my character should look like.

Most fans have already watched the cinematic (100 times or so) but I thought I'd post it so we can share with friends and for newcomers to the game. It's a great clip, but the video isn't top notch. I may replace the video and time & resourcs permit.

This short video clip is pretty clear and displays the AOC inventory system and walks through a complete armor dismantle and re-adornment. This gives ayou a quick overview of where the armor slots are, and how simple it will be to change out gear as you obtain new items.

The poor quality video has terrible sound, but shows a little of what one can expect from combat when playing the assasin class. It includes cloaking, surprise attacks and plenty of quick DPS.

Heh - I remember this video from ages ago, but with the added Age of Conan reference it's funny all over again. This video represent a little taste of what the real-time, user action required combat system looks like in AOC. Take notes 0 there will be a test afterwards.

A brief clip from back in 2006 showing the graphic and dynamic nature of the AOC combat system. It's short, and it's not very clear, but back then this was all we had to go on, and we knew immediately that we were going to play AOC when it finally released!

This is primarily a clip of PVP action but gives a little insight into the more dynamic nature of Conan's combat system. You can see how proximity and evasion come into play as you attempt to attack other players and NPC enemies, or find yourself on the recieving end of one of those attacks.
