Cyprus Reviews Age of Conan Open Beta

It was great to participate in the open beta, now we await the release on May 20 or the pre-order release of the 17th. 

Funcom shows quite a few performance enhancements over a short time

The open beta is all about testing the quests, pvp, environment, interaction, etc. But if anything, the Beta definitely showed how fast changes can be implemented and how committed Funcom is to making this game perform well.

At the start, people were screaming about the performance issues, load times, and choppiness in the towns (everywhere really).

Within 2 days, things were quite a bit smoother, lesser load times, etc. Funcom had made some huge leaps in the first 2 days, which is a great sign of things to come. Other betas that I have participated in, have not had the visible progress that this had in a week, and that's exciting.

They are still working on a very big problem with Radeon 700 series and other types of video cards (driver issue mostly) but we all assume they are working on that as a main priority.
