The Tempest of Set a faithful disciple of Set the ancient snake god of Stygia, and as such wields his mighty destructive might. While as Priests they weave regenerative spells to restore health to injured party members and restore life to fallen comrades, Tempests of Set are renowned for their power to obliterate.

From calling down crushing bolts of lightening on an enemies head, to summoning electical storms that devastate vast areas the Tempest of Set leave ruin in their wake.

Because their devastating attacks are quick to gain an enemies attention, Tempests of Set find themselves in the heat of melee battle more often than most caster classes like. As a result they generally wield martial weapons and wear light armor, sometimes even donning small shields for better melee damage mitigation.

Tempests of Set often forgo traditional offhand weapons or shields to wield talisman which focuses & augments their magical devistation such as an ancient tome or the heart of a slain attacker.
