Age of Conan Guardian Class

As the most defensive oriented member of the Soldier classes, it falls to Guardians to gain & maintain the offensive attentions of enemies.

Using special attacks and taunts the Guardian can quickly whip enemies into a frenzied aggression, keeping their attention focused on the heavily armored Soldier, and off of the barely armored casters and healers.

Guardians wield one handed swords, axes or maces and generally carryy heavy shields to block attacks and slam attackers alike. Some guardians opt for Polearm weapons for their added reach, and effective damage against multiple targets.

As the center of enemy attentions, Guardians take quite a beating, and as such generally wear the heaviest of armor and heavy shields to mitigate as much melee damage as possible.
