Heavy Armor

Offering the greatest protection against direct melee attacks, heavy armor - including partial plate & full plate, are a favorite amongst the tanking classes. Heavy armor is significantly more restrictive than the lighter armor classes and creates a considerable amount of noise in even the slightest movements.

It's vastly superior protection against piercing, slashing, curching and glancing melee blows makes heavy armor a must for fighters generating the most hate amongst enemies.
